Root canal therapy consists in removal of infected pulp from the pulp chamber and root canals of a tooth, cleaning, decontamination and filling of the canals with a special material called gutta-percha. Endodontic therapy helps often to save a painful tooth from extraction. From the dentist, it requires a great dose of precision and professionalism. We have also a microscope available, which makes the therapy even more precise. After root canal therapy we always perform X-ray imaging to make sure that the tooth was completely cured. Of course, our patients can ask for local anaesthesia which helps to spend the time during therapy in comfortable conditions.
